How To Arrange Apps On iPad?

To arrange apps on your iPad, follow these steps:

  1. Create Folders:

    • Press and hold any app icon on the Home Screen until the apps start jiggling.
    • Drag one app onto another to create a folder; additional apps can be added to the folder by dragging them into it. *Rename the folder by tapping and holding it, then selecting "Rename" and typing a new name.
  2. Move Apps Between Folders:

    • Open the folder containing the app you want to move.
    • Press and hold the app until the apps start jiggling.
    • Drag the app out of the folder and onto the Home Screen or into another folder.
  3. Delete Folders:

    • Open the folder you want to delete.
    • Drag all the apps out of the folder.
    • The folder will automatically be deleted.
  4. Sort Alphabetically:

    • Open the Settings app.
    • Go to the left menu pane and select "General".
    • Choose "Reset" and then "Reset Home Screen Layout" to sort apps alphabetically.
  5. Multiple Apps at Once:

    • Long-press on any app icon or the Home Screen itself until you enter jiggle mode.
    • Start to drag one app icon to an empty spot on your screen.
    • With your finger still on the app icon, use your other hand to tap any more apps that you want to relocate.
    • Drag the stack of multiple apps to a new screen, folder, or wherever you want to place them, and then lift your finger.

Please note that organizing your apps on the Home Screen doesn't affect the organization of apps in the App Library.
