How To Enable Split Screen On Surface Laptop?
To enable split screen on a Microsoft Surface Laptop, follow these steps:
Without Keyboard
- Open multiple apps or tabs on your Surface Laptop.
- Grab the title bar of one application with your finger, pen, or mouse and drag it towards the left or right edge of the screen until it snaps to occupy half of the screen.
- Release the app to lock it in place.
- Repeat the process with another app to fill the remaining half of the screen.
With Keyboard (Windows 10)
- Open multiple apps or tabs on your Surface Laptop.
- Ensure your primary app is in focus.
- Press the Windows key and the left or right arrow keys to snap the app to the left or right half of the screen.
Tablet Mode (Windows 10)
- Switch your Surface Pro to Tablet mode by clicking on the Action Center icon in the bottom-right corner and selecting Tablet mode.
- Swipe in from the left edge of the screen to bring up Task View.
- Drag an app from Task View to the right side of the screen to fill half of the screen.
