How To Use iPhone Night Shift Feature On iPad And Mac?
To enable the 'Night Shift' feature on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac, follow these instructions:
For iPhone and iPad:
Launch Control Center: Swipe down from the top right corner (on iPhone X and newer) or up from the bottom edge (on earlier models) to open it.
Locate the Brightness Control icon within Control Center. Hold and tap to switch Night Shift on or off.
Alternatively, go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Night Shift to toggle Night Shift directly from the settings app and manage scheduling options, which allow automation based on sunset and sunrise.
For Mac:
Click the Apple Menu and select System Settings.
Choose Displays.
Select the Night Shift tab. From here, you can:
- Manually turn Night Shift on or off, extending it until sunrise or a specific schedule.
- Create a custom schedule for Night Shift activation and deactivation (either daily or weekly).
- Adjust the color temperature for a desired level of warmth.
Keep in mind that Night Shift availability on Mac depends upon the operating system version and hardware model meeting certain criteria.
