How To Use Instagram Notes On Android And iPhone?
To use Instagram Notes on your iPhone or Android smartphone, follow these steps:
Creating and Sharing an Instagram Note:
- Open the Instagram app.
- Navigate to your Direct Messages (DM) inbox by tapping the paper airplane icon in the upper right corner.
- Locate your profile image displaying 'Your Note' next to it, usually located at the very top under recent messages. Tap this area for creating a new note. Alternatively, tap the pencil ('+') symbol nearby.
- Compose a message within the 60 character limit.
- Optionally, tap the musical note icon to add a song (users have access to search for songs to include) or the camera icon to record a short video (limited to 2 seconds). You can also mention someone by using '@tag'.
- Before sending, determine who sees your note by selecting either "Followers you follow back" or "Close Friends".
- Finally, click 'Share', found in the top right corner of the compose window, to publish your Instagram Note.
Remember, your note lasts for 24 hours and deletion occurs automatically afterwards unless manually deleted sooner. It only shows up at the top of your followers' inboxes if they follow you back or are part of your Close Friends group.
To view Instagram Notes from others:
- Enter your inbox.
- Look for a note directly beneath user profiles or at the top (replaced by '..."Your Note").
- Expand to see the full message or comment inline.
