How To Use An iPad As A Nintendo Switch Screen?
Using an iPad as a screen for a Nintendo Switch is not officially supported by Nintendo or Apple, but there are workarounds that allow you to mirror your Switch's display on the iPad using third-party applications. Here's a general guide based on information available up until my last update in 2024:
- Ensure both devices (Nintendo Switch and iPad) have internet connectivity and can access the same network.
- Download and install a streaming app compatible with both platforms, such as "Kinoni Remote Desktop", "Splashtop Wired XDisplay", or "iDisplay". These apps enable remote desktop connections between different operating systems.
- Connect your Nintendo Switch to a computer via USB cable. The selected app will use this connection to stream the Switch's display onto the iPad.
- Follow the instructions provided by the chosen application to establish a connection between the iPad and the Nintendo Switch through the intermediary of the PC. This process may involve installing additional software on the PC and configuring settings on all three devices.
Please note that performance may vary depending on factors like Wi-Fi signal strength, device specifications, and the quality of the streaming app used. Additionally, these methods might not provide optimal gaming experience due to latency issues and potential input lag. It's always recommended to check user reviews before choosing a particular solution.
Remember that using unofficial methods to mirror game consoles on other devices could potentially violate terms of service agreements. Proceed at your own risk and ensure you understand any legal implications involved.
